Neil Kasper has been in this industry for almost 30 years. He was a sales manager for over 13 years with the former Excell Paper Company located in Paterson, NJ. Excel was unique in the tri-state area because they represented many suppliers and were able to provide a broad line of products for the food, packaging and garment industries. In 2003, when Excell permanently closed their doors, Neil had to determine how he could best position himself to continue to provide the broad range of products and excellent service his customers had been accustomed to in the past.
After doing some research and weighing various options, he concluded that the best course of action was to become an independent broker and GMS Total Solutions, LLC was established in June of 2003. Neil maximized his prior business relationships with key suppliers in the region which allowed him to provide his customers with a variety of sources to enable them to secure the products they required at competitive prices.
Over the last seven years, GMS has maintained a continuing relationship with this intial select group of excellent vendors. This has allowed GMS to consistently provide exceptional pricing and service to their customers. In addition, being independent has allowed the freedom to explore many different vendors and product lines to find whatever products our customers may require.
